SEASIDE, Ca., December 6, 2019 – ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog Global Studies major Palia Vang was recently recognized for her high academic achievements and exceptional service provided to auxiliary organizations on campus. Vang works in a variety of roles serving the Otter Student Union (OSU) and Student Housing & Residential Life where her positive and upbeat attitude has impacted thousands of visitors to campus.

SEASIDE, Ca., December 4, 2019 – First Night Monterey unveiled its 2020 theme, “Light Up the Night!” and artwork for the upcoming New Year’s Eve Celebration at ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog’s Alumni and Visitor Center today.

SEASIDE, Ca., December 4, 2019 – The MY Town Pop-up Children’s Museum launched at the ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog Salinas City Center during the summer of 2019. The exhibition provided a free children’s museum for Salinas and saw nearly 6,000 attendees. It also functioned as a research space for ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog students.

SEASIDE, Calif., November 15, 2019 – ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog Cinematic Arts and Technology major Erin Mansel was among 1,000 students across the nation selected to the Forbes Under 30 Scholars Program this year.

SEASIDE, Calif., November 12, 2019 – California State University, Monterey Bay (ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog) President Eduardo M. Ochoa will host several of ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog’s founding members to discuss their experiences and memories about the founding of ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog.

​​​​​The California State University (CSU) Board of Trustees Special Committee to Consider the Selection of the Chancellor began the search process for the next chancellor by hosting an open forum on Tuesday, November 12, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the University Union Ballroom at Sacramento State.

SEASIDE, Ca., November 6, 2019 – California State University Monterey Bay’s (ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog) Salinas Center for Arts and Culture launched the “ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog Honors Veterans” exhibition today at ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog at Salinas City Center with a grand opening event from 6-8 p.m.

SEASIDE, Ca., October 31, 2019 – California State University, Monterey Bay’s (ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog) Institute for Innovation and Economic Development (iiED) is set to host the 8th annual Startup Hackathon at ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog’s University Center from Nov. 1-3, 2019. This year’s theme is “Smart Cities: Build tech to make our communities smarter and safer.”

SEASIDE, Calif., October 24, 2019 – California State University, Monterey Bay (ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog) will host a series of Dia de Los Muertos events on Friday, November 1, 2019. The events, free and open to the public, will be offered on ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog's main campus and at ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog's Center for Arts and Culture located at ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog at Salinas City Center.
