GE Area A1 Oral Communication Cooperative

For Fall 2026, faculty scholars will be looking at our survey data that we collected in spring 2025 and then compile suggestions for improving oral communication instruction, and perhaps assessment, at ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog.

GE Area A2 Written Communication Cooperative

Facilitator: Kelly Medina-Lopez

For Fall of 2026, faculty scholars will turn to the survey data collected in Spring 2025 (as well as potentially re-launch survey to collect further data) and build out from there. The goal is to build a collection of Writing and AI faculty resources that might include: assignment ideas (AI free); sample prompts; lesson planning supports; time-saving workflows; classroom integration strategies; policies and guidelines.

GE Area A3 Critical Thinking Cooperative

Facilitator: Patrick Belanger

In Fall 2026, the group will:

1) continue working on a student survey regarding understanding of and attitudes towards CT and the teaching thereof.

2) make minor adjustments to the rubric’s descriptive language.

Information Literacy Cooperative

Facilitator: Sarah Dahlen

Faculty scholars will review the results from summer assessment and create teaching and learning materials to address areas of challenge for students.

Quantitative Reasoning Cooperative

In the fall, we will review the results from the summer assessment and generate a report as a resource for faculty.

Collective facilitation

Participants in this cooperative reviewed the  and developed strategies for advancing ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog’s capstone requirement, particularly with regard to how ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog’s ULOs can enhance student achievement of MLOs. This group was comprised of some members from other ULO project groups.
