ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog

Finish in Four is available to eligible students entering ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog as first-time, first-year students.

Students must:

• Be a California resident for tuition purposes.
• Attend on-campus orientation before their first semester.
• Enroll in a major approved for the program.
• Be able to follow a four-year degree plan.
• Meet at least one of the following criteria:
  • Be a low-income student.
  • Be a first-generation college student.
  • Have graduated from a high school in a community that is underrepresented in college attendance.

• Business Administration
• Cinematic Arts and Technology
• Collaborative Health and Human Services
• Human Development and Family Science
• Kinesiology
• Psychology
• Sustainable Hospitality and Tourism Management

Through in Two is available to eligible transfer students who:

• Earned an Associate in Arts for Transfer or Associate in Science for Transfer from a California community college.
• Enroll at ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog in a major, and concentration when applicable, that matches their transfer degree.
• Are California residents for tuition purposes.
• Attend on-campus orientation before their first semester.
• Are able to complete the remaining bachelor’s degree requirements within two years.

Students should confirm with an academic advisor that their transfer degree, ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog major, concentration, and degree pathway are aligned.

Students who remain eligible receive:

• Priority registration through the Through in Two and Finish in Four program.
• Regular academic advising.
• A term-by-term educational plan.
• Support in identifying the courses and requirements needed for timely graduation.
• Ongoing progress reviews with an academic advisor.

Priority registration does not guarantee placement in a particular course, section, instructor, or meeting time.

Students must complete the following steps by the semester’s posted deadline:

1. Schedule an appointment with an academic advisor.
2. Confirm program and major eligibility.
3. Work with the advisor to create an approved two- or four-year educational plan.
4. Review the program expectations with the advisor.
5. Sign the Through in Two and Finish in Four pledge form.

The pledge form requires academic advisor approval. Students should not complete the form before meeting with their advisor.

The form is only accessible while signed in with a ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog account.

Transfer Students

Transfer students must also submit an official transcript showing that their matching Associate Degree for Transfer was awarded. A previously submitted admissions transcript may not show the completed degree.

Participants must continue making progress according to their approved educational plan.

Students are expected to:

• Successfully complete at least 30 units that apply toward their degree each academic year.
• Meet with their designated academic advisor by the posted deadline each semester.
• Enroll in required courses according to the approved plan when the courses are offered and available.
• Use their priority registration appointment and pay registration fees by university deadlines.
• Remain in the degree program approved when entering the pledge program.
• Maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
• Meet any higher grade or GPA requirements established by their major.
• Follow ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog academic, administrative, and student conduct policies.
• Meet annual financial aid application deadlines when receiving financial aid.

Transfer students must remain in a major and concentration that match their Associate Degree for Transfer.

Students should contact their advisor before changing a major, concentration, course, or other part of their approved plan. Changes may affect continued eligibility.

A student who is not accepted into the program or is later removed will remain a ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog student and may continue registering for courses.

The student will no longer receive priority registration through Through in Two and Finish in Four. Students removed from the program will be notified through their ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog email.

Students should continue working with an academic advisor to create a graduation plan that reflects their current circumstances and goals.

Application, advising, pledge, and transcript deadlines are established each semester.

Eligible students should:

• Review messages sent to their ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog email.
• Schedule an advising appointment as early as possible.
• Complete the advising meeting and pledge before the posted deadline.
• Allow additional time for official transcripts to be processed.

Academic advising appointments may fill several weeks in advance. Waiting until the deadline may prevent a student from completing the required steps on time.

Fall 2026 Dates and Deadlines

New Fall 2026 students must meet with an academic advisor and complete the by the posted deadline.

New First-Year and Transfer Students

As soon as possible: Schedule a Through in Two and Finish in Four advising appointment. Academic advising appointments may fill several weeks in advance.

September 16, 2026: Meet with your academic advisor, complete an approved educational plan, and sign the .

Additional Requirement for Transfer Students

Submit an official transcript verifying completion of the Associate Degree for Transfer that matches your ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog major and concentration, when applicable.

The final transcript previously submitted for admission may not show that the Associate Degree for Transfer was awarded. Check with your academic advisor to confirm that ÌÇÐĶ¯Âþvlog has received the required documentation.

Meet with your academic advisor to review and approve your educational plan before signing the pledge.
