SEASIDE, Calif., August 23, 2019 – California State University, Monterey Bay (ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog) began welcoming students back to campus today, officially kicking off ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog’s 25th anniversary year. Classes begin on Monday, August 26, but all incoming, first-year students are required to attend a weekend long orientation called “Otter Days,” starting Friday, August 23.

Incoming freshman Daniella Spina, from Long Beach and majoring in Marine Science, moves in to ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog with the help of her family on August 23, 2019.
“It is always exciting to begin a new academic year. We are looking forward to welcoming our returning students, as well as our freshmen and transfers -- our new Otters. Our faculty and staff members are focused on maintaining ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog’s small-campus feel, even as our campus continues to grow and change,” said ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog President, Eduardo M. Ochoa.
ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog’s newest building, Academic III, is also now open for the fall semester. There will be a grand opening on October 11, 2019.
