A Payment Extension hold does not prevent registration. Instead, it allows you to remain enrolled in your classes while your payment is pending.
You may receive this extension if:
- Your tuition and fees are fully covered by financial aid, or
- The Bursar’s Office has a third-party authorization form on file covering your tuition and fees.
This extension appears in the “Holds” section of your Student Center. If you have this extension, you will not be dropped from your classes for nonpayment. Your tuition payment deadline has been extended to September 8, 2026.
A Financial Aid Housing Payment Extension hold may also be granted if your housing and meal plan charges are fully covered by financial aid, or by a combination of student payments, financial aid, and/or third-party payments. This extension also appears in the “Holds” section of your Student Center and extends your housing and meal plan payment deadline to September 8, 2026.
If you have both extensions, all of your charges — including tuition, fees, housing, and meal plan charges — are considered covered. Your payment deadline for all charges has been extended to September 8, 2026.
