By completing this minor, students will:

The Artificial Intelligence minor includes a focused set of courses designed to build your skills step by step, from foundational concepts to real-world application.

Coursework includes:

  • CST 319 — Computing Across the Disciplines (3 units)
    Build essential skills in data and computing that support AI and machine learning.
  • CST 381 — Foundations of Data Science for AI (4 units)
    Explore core AI concepts, including algorithms, problem-solving and intelligent systems.
  • CST 481 — Introduction to Deep Learning (4 units)
    Dive into neural networks and modern AI techniques used in areas like image recognition and natural language processing.
  • CST 482 — AI in Practice (4 units)
    ÌÇÐ͝Âþvlog what you’ve learned to real-world projects, using AI tools to solve practical problems.
